Using the X-X
The X-X is a lapel-style electret condenser microphone that uses a 6mm omnidirectional capsule. The X-X has a diffuse-field frequency response; while essentially flat from 20Hz to 5kHz, with a rising response above.
Due to the small size of the capsule, the X-X has an accurate and lifelike sound. Its small capsule case makes it ideal for mounting to an instrument, placing on a flat surface as a boundary mic, or using as a lapel mic.
Power Supply and Interconnection
The X-X is designed to work with low voltage and low current power supplies as well as standard phantom power. The X-X requires a phantom power supply of +9V to +48V.
